Location and Building Information

9th Street Entrance of the Bok Building.

Amy Novinski Ballet is located at 1901 S. 9th Street Unit 615, Philadelphia, PA 19148 in the extraordinary BOK Building in South Philadelphia.  We recommend entering via the 9th street entrance where you’ll see the famous BOK block letters. Alternatively there are entrances at 8th Street and Mifflin Street.

To access the building tap “Virtual Key” or “Visitor Pass” on the directory screen outside the entrance.  Hold up the QR code found at the following link (amynovinski.com/virtual-key) when instructed by the directory screen to be let in.  Alternatively you can use the pin code supplied at the same link. Use the CENTER ELEVATOR to access the studio. When entering via the 9th Street entrance, walk down the main corridor to the red Ambassador’s desk. The CENTER elevator will be here. Amy Novinski Ballet is on the 6th floor in Room 615. You can also take the EASTERN or CENTER stairs.

Helpful Tools

  • Zoom Link, just in case you’re unable to join us in person for any reason.  Please email me if this is needed as the Zoom version of class will not always automatically run.  https://us06web.zoom.us/j/8907533383

  • Nearby Grocery and Drugstores : Acme (Passyunk and Dickinson); CVS Pharmacy (10th and Reed); Rite-Aid (7th and Dickinson)

  • Water Bottle Filling Stations are available on every floor of the building.

  • Storage : The Bok building is a converted high school and as such we have lockers aplenty that are available for free use.  If it makes your life easier, bring a combination lock to store your ballet gear so you can travel a little lighter outside of the studio.

  • Dressing Rooms : While no locker rooms exist in the building, there are stall bathrooms available on each floor in addition to larger ADA bathrooms that may provide more security and room for changing in and out of ballet gear. Showers are not available.

If you find that you have any questions or concerns, please notify me via email novinskiamy@gmail.com We’re so excited to welcome you to the studio, see you soon!
